Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026.

This policy explains what digitLIX collects when you use digitlix.com, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who is responsible

digitLIX is an independent music producer, and is responsible for the data described here. Write to contact@digitlix.com about anything on this page.

What we collect

  • When you buy a license. Your name, email address and billing details, plus the beats and licenses you ordered. Payment is handled by PayPal, card numbers are never sent to or stored on this site.
  • When you request a free demo. Your email address, the beat requested, and the date you agreed to receive it.
  • When you contact us. Whatever you put in your message.
  • Automatically. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) and the cookies described in our Cookies Policy.

Why we use it

  • To deliver the files you paid for and to prove which license you hold.
  • To answer your messages.
  • To send new-beat updates, only if you asked for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To keep the site working and to prevent abuse of the free-download form.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run the store. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

  • PayPal processes payments and receives the details needed to take one, under its own privacy notice.
  • Our hosting provider stores the site and its database on servers located in Canada.
  • Our email provider delivers order confirmations, download links and any updates you asked for.
  • Our security and content-delivery provider routes traffic to the site and forwards mail sent to our @digitlix.com addresses.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising. If you want to know exactly which providers we use, ask and we will tell you.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and licensing rules require, because a license has no expiry and you may need proof of it years later. Free-download signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for removal. Server logs are kept for a short period.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, except where we must keep order records. Write to contact@digitlix.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
