digitLIX wants every visitor to be able to hear the beats and buy a license, whatever they use to browse. This page says what has been done, what is known to be imperfect, and how to tell us when something blocks you.
Standard we aim for
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. The site has not yet been through a formal third-party audit, so treat this as a statement of intent backed by the work listed below rather than a certification.
What is in place
- An accessibility panel, the button at the bottom-left of every page, with larger text, higher contrast, highlighted links, a plainer typeface, and an option to stop all animation. Choices are remembered on your device.
- Every control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Buttons and icons carry text labels for screen readers; artwork carries alt text.
- The beat list, filters and player work without a mouse, and the player states what is playing.
- Colour is never the only way information is given, and text is sized in relative units so browser zoom works.
- The site respects your operating system’s “reduce motion” setting.
Known limitations
- Paying takes you to PayPal’s own website, and the accessibility of PayPal’s pages is outside our control.
- The audio waveform is decorative and is hidden from screen readers; the track position slider is the accessible equivalent.
- Beat artwork is described by the beat’s title rather than a longer description of the image.
